You want your fundraiser to make the most money possible.
I get it. And we got you.
(you should already have a fundraiser that is built, approved, and published...if not, you can start that process by
creating an account).
Bottom line: you need to get the word out about your fundraiser, and we've got some great ideas.
Best ways to raise more money
1. Invite your participants (players, students, etc) to get their own unique links to the fundraiser by pasting their email addresses into the invitation field in the "Manage Participants" page in your account, and clicking on "Invite Participants"
2. Encourage participants to text at least 5 people with their link or qr code, with the phrase "Will you help out with my fundraiser?" This is the single best method to get supporters. Texts to individuals instead of groups are much more effective.
3. Post your fundraiser's link on social media, send it via direct emails or other messages, and place phone calls asking for support—are all great methods.
4. Print the qr code for your campaign (or a participant's unique qr code) if you wish to solicit supporters face-to-face—this is also very effective, but of course up to you and your best judgement.
Occasionally, you should review the list of participants in your account, and use the tools there to either re-send invitations if they've not responded, or copy their links if they need you to send them.
Other ideas we've seen work well include splitting your group and having the smaller groups compete for who can raise the most money; also designing and printing flyers with your fundraiser QR code and posting them anywhere there are potential supporters.
